Magical Mr. Peacock.

Bodhi’s coloring is an exquisite reminder of the wonders of nature. His gentle, timid soul can calm you while in his presence. Bodhi in sanskrit is “enlightenment”. He is an Indian peafowl, native to India. Peacocks, male peafowl, are India’s national bird. Bodhi was found as a stray resting in the rafters of a business building in Wenatchee. He was taken to the Humane Society until we brought him in. He is a bit wary and circumspect, moving thoughtfully and with intention. Yet, he seems comforted by the company of others, settling in with contentment. His favorite treats are grubs and sunflower seeds, and his favorite green is lettuce. With much time and patience, may he learn that he can trust us.
