Progress Continues!

Hello Friends & Family!
I'm sorry it has been so long since I have sent an update, it has been pretty busy around here, so this will just be a quick one. Eric's dad was here for 10 days or so after surgery to help Eric w/ work, recover, and helped out with some chores around the house too! We had Eric's post-op appointment and everything is moving on schedule, still about 4 more weeks until he will be really walking or can drive etc. His spirits are good and he's working hard everyday strengthening & stretching his knee. He had a good time at the grocery the other day as you can see. :)

Our neighbor/friend is helping me complete Chino's fence and house. Last week we spent three afternoons milling big logs (we received from our other neighbor) for the siding for the new house. The temps have been quite warm here, but look forward to some cooler days next week for working.
Meanwhile, Chino is doing well. He loves his company & attention all the time and especially loves when we sit out and have a drink with him in the late afternoon/ evening. He and Maya are still enjoying each others company!
I am heading out now to meet our neighbor for a couple hours work this morning, before Eric and I go to meet the goats at Pasados Safe Haven, to see who wants to come live with Chino!! We won't be bringing them home today, just meeting & greeting. :)
