Day before surgery…

Good Evening!
It is a beautiful one here, sunny and warm with a nice breeze. Im sitting in our front yard enjoying the shade and Chino is curled up next me in his dirt hole, he made, taking a nap. Eric is napping too, inside on our bed where it is nice and cool. He made it through surgery on Thursday and everything went really well.
For those of you who don't know, when Eric & I were skiing together mid April, he caught an edge & was thrown into a group of trees and ended up injuring his knee quite badly. He had an ACL, MCL, PCL, & meniscus tear as well as a couple of small fractures. The surgeon wanted to wait a few weeks before surgery so the knee could heal as much as possible on its own and be as strong as possible before surgery to optimize the recovery for Eric, since he is so physically active. So, yes, all this progress on Chino's fence and house has been done on his bum knee. Eric tried his damnedest to get it completed before surgery, and my we got a lot done and had some great help. The day before Eric's surgery he finished building a gate for the fence and we got the other metal gate put up! Everything is looking so great and we are so excited to see it all come together.
