Astrid & Kaisey

These two are inseparable, and have been since the moment we brought them home at just a few days old.

A day after being hatched, they were put into a box and shipped through the mail to a farm store. Unable to keep warm, many of their siblings and companions were dying. We were able to rescue these ladies and help them grow up healthy and strong. Astrid had a rough start and at times, we weren’t sure she would make it, but with Kaisey by her side, she has grown to be happy healthy chicken. They are almost physically identical, but their face and eyes reveal unique characteristics between them. Astrid grew up being a bit more adventurous, out-going, and fun-loving. Kaisey tends to be a bit more reserved, timid, and quiet. They both are as sweet as can be and have grown to be the perfect lady friends Elen may have always wanted.
