Luna

12 years ago, Luna was the first addition to our family.

We got her when we were both Ski Patrolling and trained her to be an Avalanche Rescue dog. She was a very talented “working” dog, which is what her breed is known for. She is a Belgian Malinois, they are also known for their loyalty, intelligence, commitment, drive and strength. We are pretty sure she understands English, sees herself more as a human than a dog and is pretty good at getting what she wants. Besides loud noises, car rides, and being in the vicinity of our newest cat, she is quite mellow and snuggly. She loves to get belly rubs and play “face smash”. She loves eating most everything and can do a whole bundle of tricks, her favorite being the removal of only socks from the dryer.
