Burgers

Ingredients

·       Plant-based burger of choice

(our favorites are Beyond or Impossible Meat/Burger)

·       Plant-based Bun - any nice bread will do 

(ciabatta, bagel, whole grain sliced bread, hamburger bun…)

·       Plant-based cheese

(we prefer Follow Your Heart Smoked Gouda or Chao Creamy Original)

·       Desired Toppings

(we use ketchup, stone-ground mustard, dill pickle, lettuce, tomato, & avocado)

·       Broccoli

·       4-5 russet potatoes

·       1 cup Plant-based milk of choice

(we use Oat milk or Ripple milk) 

·       4 Tbsp plant-based butter

·       Salt & pepper

1.     Put potatoes in a pot and put in enough water to cover them. Boil the potatoes until soft when poked with a fork. Remove them from the stove and drain remaining water. Mash them. Add the plant-based butter and plant-based milk and stir. Add salt & pepper to taste. 

2.     Put the plant-based burgers on the grill or in a pan on the stove and cook until hot and have a little brown on each side. 

3.     Cover the bottom of a pan with water and add the broccoli. Steam on Medium heat with a lid until soft. Drain remaining water and add salt & pepper to taste. 

4.     Cut up/prepare burger garnishes

5.     Put together your burger and Enjoy!
