Who’s the plant eating culprit?

Last night we got home from a quick trip to town, everything seemed normal with Chino and the girls greeting us at the front gate as usual as we walked up. We spent some time snuggling them and saying hello before walking inside.
We walked through the front door and Eric noticed that our dried flowers on the dining room table seemed to be partially gone and scattered around the table a bit. Hmmm, we thought, that is a bit strange, must have been the wind...(our screen door was open so there could have been a breeze) but there wasn't, really. We kind of shugged it off and keep walking to notice a paper on the floor that looked partially chewed....we start laughing & joking that Chino somehow got in the house! But how? All the doors were closed, everyone was outside hanging out. So, now we are interested. We start looking around more to quickly find 2 of our plants have been eaten....so there is only one culprit for that! Chino! How did he get in the house????? No doors open, no other signs....just a few plants and part of a newspaper page to give away the evidence that yes, somehow Chino had finally made his way into the house and had a snack. :) He was a gentleman and did not pee nor poo in the house while he visited. It would be interesting to know what role the dogs played in this venture.... All pretending as nothing out of the ordinary had gone on. Never a dull moment.
