Roo

Roo takes his role of being a protector very seriously.

He is the master guardian of his lady hen friends, protecting them as best possible at all times. Watching out for them while they rest and lay their eggs. He is the first one to bed as it gets dark, guiding the ladies in for safety. He calls out when he’s spotted the best treats for them and makes sure they fill up before he will eat them himself. He is a large handsome rooster, with coloring of the classic rooster from a storybook. Roo was advertised as having an hour for someone to take him or he’d be going into a freezer, we were fortunate enough to be able to bring him home to safety.
