Jose

The survivor.

Jose is a gentle, handsome bird. His emerald green tail feathers shimmer in the sunlight as he forages the yard with his friends. He is a protector of his flock, loyal and committed to his ladies, and a survivor. Previously Jose had lost his bird family and was the only one left. He had no housing on cold winter months and lost the top half of his comb to severe frostbite. He was also infested with mites and lice. We gladly welcomed Jose to the bird yard where he quickly bonded with Elen and the others. Jose will open your heart with his curious, trusting, gentle soul.
